OTHER INSPECTIONS

Mundic tests

A mundic test consists of drilling into the property’s walls to take core samples. These samples are sent to a local laboratory where they are analysed for the presence of mundic. Lastly, our surveyor writes a detailed report, clearly stating the result and any implications this may have.

Specific structural inspections

Is a comprehensive inspection that assess structural cracking and movement but can also be used for other types of defect diagnosis such as damp and timber decay or a structural assessment.

Thermal imaging

Is a method in which, using thermal imaging cameras, we can detect issues and defects we can’t see with the naked eye, helping us diagnose areas where energy or heat is lost in the building.
